Residence and Family: A 25+ year District resident living on Van Buren Street. Together with husband Michael, they have four children, each PRSD graduates: Michael, Jr. is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College; Shaun is a graduate of SUNY Cortland with a Masters degree from SUNY Utica; Brian is a graduate of Rider University; and Meghan is graduating in May 2026 from Sacred Heart University. Her boys are married and she currently has seven grandchildren.
Education: Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Registered Nurse diploma from Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing and a bridged Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Loyola University in New Orleans.
Career: Previously was involved in consultant work at Anderson Consulting, before entering the nursing profession as a Registered Nurse providing ICU and Trauma Nursing at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Kelley is a Professor of Nursing and Director of Undergraduate Nursing Education at Caldwell University's School of Nursing & Public Health. Professionally, she sits on Advisory boards at local hospitals — advising on best practices for nursing new graduate mentorship and preceptorship.
Community Involvement: Seeking third term on the PRSD Board of Education as an unopposed candidate. Involved in the Stop Anellotech community movement and participated in many school-related programs: class parent at Lincoln Avenue Elementary School, a Career Day presenter at Pearl River Middle School, and a Honors Science guest lecturer at Pearl River High School. Served as a tri-lead for the American Cancer Society's Rockland Relay for Life and sits on the Winter Games Committee for the Special Olympics - NJ. Has taught Confraternity of Christian Doctrine at Saint Aedan's Church for seven years.
