PRHS Pirate Repertory Presents 'Sense and Sensibility' Nov. 7-8
Pearl River High School's Pirate Repertory is presenting performances of Jane Austen's first published novel 'Sense and Sensibility'. A romantic fiction, better known as a comedy of manners, 'Sense and Sensibility' is set in southwest England, London and Kent between 1792 and 1797, and portrays the life and loves of the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. The novel follows the young ladies to their new home, a meagre cottage on a distant relative's property, where they experience love, romance and heartbreak.
Tickets are on sale now for evening performances on Friday and Saturday, November 7th & 8th at 7:00 PM in Pearl River High School's auditorium. A free senior citizen performance will be held on Thursday, November 6th at 3:30 PM.
