Board of Education Election
There are two seats open for the Board of Education, currently held by Jackie Dubil Craig and Thomas DePrisco. Both Mrs. Dubil Craig and Mr. DePrisco are seeking re-election and are running unopposed.
Their terms commence on July 1, 2024 and run through June 30, 2027.
The election will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, together with the Annual School Budget Vote.
As there are only two candidates, the 2024-25 Candidates' Night, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th, is cancelled.

Absentee Ballots
Absentee Ballots for the School Budget Vote & Board of Education Election must be received by 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, via USPS mail or drop-off to:

In the event that a resident voter does not feel that there is enough time to return ballots via USPS mail, sealed ballots can be dropped off at a contactless drop box located inside the main entrance of the Pearl River School District Administration Building located at 135 West Crooked Hill Road during business hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The box will also be available on the day of the budget vote, Tuesday, May 21st, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Absentee Ballot reminders:
- Please be sure to sign the oath on the back of the envelope; unsigned ballots cannot be counted;
- If there are multiple registered voters in the household, each ballot must be sent in its own oath envelope, with the oath signature of the corresponding pre-printed name on the front of the envelope. Envelopes containing multiple ballots cannot be counted;
- Ballots must be received by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21st. Any ballots received after 5:00 PM, regardless of the USPS postal date, cannot be counted.

Voter Registration
The last day to register to vote was May 7th!
To be eligible to register, you must be:
• 18 years of age or older on the day of the vote;
• A citizen of the United States;
• A resident of the Pearl River School District for at least 30 days prior to the day of the vote.
In order to vote in the upcoming School Budget Vote and Board of Education Election, voters must be registered with the Rockland County Board of Elections or Pearl River School District. If you are registered but have not voted in a general or school election since 2020, you must re-register. If you are registered but have either moved into the District or moved from one address to another within the District, you must re-register.

Please note that the polling site listed on your NY Board of Elections account is for general elections. All voting for our school budget will take place at Pearl River High School's Pirate Cove.
